Gibraltar Looks at Public Water System

The Town of Gibraltar has retained Cedar Engineers to study the feasibility of running water through the town in anticipation of the Department of Transportation’s road resurfacing in 2013. That resurfacing would become a reconstruction project instead if the town decides to put in a public water system. That would likely push the project back to 2016. The town is investigating running sidewalks, curb and gutter up the Fish Creek hill to Gibraltar School, as well as a multimodal trail to Ephraim, as part of the highway project.
