Gibraltar Students Marvel at Teaching Trunk Artifacts

The Ephraim Historical Foundation’s second teaching trunk delighted young historians at Gibraltar Elementary School as Miss Lizzie Anderson (played by Marla Horwitz) and John Seiler (Kevin Free) shared stories about life in Victorian Era Ephraim.

The young historians found artifacts including: period clothing, hair art, a Sears and Roebuck catalog, and a stereopticon with stereographs.

A third teaching trunk, focused on the rise of tourism, will be unveiled in spring.
