Girlfriends Great EGGscape

Make your plans to attend Egg Harbor’s newest event – the Girlfriends Great EGGscape – a women’s getaway with an Egg Harbor twist from May 14 – 17, 2009.

While a few activities start on Thursday, May 14, the bulk of the activities, fun and laughter are scheduled for Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Everyone is encouraged to leave their baggage at home to relax, relate and release at the Girlfriends Great EGGscape where a free trolley will shuttle guests throughout the area.

Whether recreation or relaxation is the goal, there are plenty of opportunities for both. Women can meet fellow escapees at a wine and cheese tasting, as well as participate in a variety of classes, demonstrations, seminars and workshops. There will be the opportunity to jump on the trolley and visit four working artists in the Art Crawl. Or, ladies can take a fun hooping class and learn about a “magic” hoop that can help with fitness goals. How about yoga, Zumba or belly dancing? Anyone for a Bloody Mary on a Stick? Those who are interested can take advantage of low-cost options as well – like kayaking, group golf lessons, spa treatments and much, much more.

The Girlfriends Great EGGscape will also feature nighttime activities. From late night shopping, open mic and karaoke to a bonfire, wine tasting and dance, there will be something for everyone.
