Going Solar

The Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) in Custer, Wis., is now offering an online, “on-demand” course that introduces the technology of Solar Water Heating. Kevin Kowalski, MREA program coordinator, walks participants through the history, principles and basic design of a domestic solar water heating system. This course joins the other six online, on-demand MREA courses that are free for MREA Members and only $20 for non-members.

On-demand courses are completely at the learner’s own pace, and can be accessed anytime and from anywhere with an internet connection. These MREA courses require no direct interaction or scheduled webinars with the instructor or other learners. It’s the perfect first step for anyone who is interested in solar water heating for a home, farm or business – and wants to learn more.
