Good for Another 30 Years

What started out as a fix-up of the existing 30-year-old building turned into a complete rebuild for Seaquist Orchards Farm Market during the off-season.

“The work started on Jan. 25 and went through February and March,” said Jim Seaquist, adding that there was just as much time moving snow around during the brutal winter than attending to the rebuild.

But general contractor Alliance Construction & Design of De Pere, Wis., pulled it off, and the public was ready to see the expanded store.

“With this all-new main building, we should be good for another 30 years,” Seaquist said. “Now this is more of a year-round facility. We’ll probably look at staying open longer.”

The market located two miles north of Sister Bay, on Hwy 42, is open from 9-6 daily, Monday through Saturday. You can also visit them online at seaquistorchards.com.
