Gould Chomeau Results

The 34th Annual Gould Chomeau Scholarship golf tournament took place on August 7 at Peninsula State Park Golf Course. The outing drew 80 golfers, and Jim Thompson took top honors with a 67 while Lainie Marshall took first in the women’s division with a 84. Below are net results based on divisions:

Women:
Age 40-56: Susan Chomeau 68
Age 57-66: Janice Aiken 73
Age 67-72: Cathie Gelhaar 68
Age 73-80: Barbara Gould 72

Men:
Age 40-53: Scott Jardine 68
Age 54-58: Terry Rathsack 65
Age 59-61: Tomm Hummel 67
Age 62-65: Dick Brisch 58
Age 66-72: Chris Bungener 66
Age 73-78: John Green 70
Age 80-96: John Maring 69

Last year five $100 scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors from Gibraltar High School. Registration is underway for next year. The event will take place on Sunday, August 5 with an 8 am shotgun start at Peninsula State Park. Inquiries can be directed to Susie Samson at 920.854.9955.
