Greg Stephen Receives Melvin Jones Fellowship

Sturgeon Bay Lions Club awarded a Melvin Jones Fellowship to Lion Greg Stephan at a recent meeting. The award is named after the founder of the Lions Club and is the highest form of recognition in Lions. The fellowship embodies humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism. Lion Stephan joined the Club in 1983. He has served on numerous committees over the years and as president in 1987-88 and is the current president of club. He has been active in the community as a member of the board of directors of the Door County Economic Development Corporation; member and president of the board of directors on the Door County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Jaycees, and a Cub Scout leader.
