Guest Speaker for Parkinson’s Support Group

The Parkinson Disease Support Group will have a guest speaker at its April 12, 1 pm, meeting as part of Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month. 

David Bougie – a deep brain stimulation specialist who studied neuroscience and physiology at UW-Madison and now works with neurologists and neurosurgeons across the state – will be joined by Charles, a man who recently received deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease. Bougie will talk about where advanced therapies fit into the picture of Parkinson’s treatments.
