After The Ridges Sanctuary’s great waffle breakfast, burn off some calories by joining a Ridges naturalist for a guided hike on the Sanctuary trails to learn about the cultural and natural history of the ridges and swales. These hikes take place Fridays at 1 pm and Saturdays at 10 am and 1 pm through March 30. Hikes end at the center with a mug of hot chocolate or coffee.
The fee is $5 per member and $8 per nonmember; people younger than 18 are free. Meet at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center. No reservation is needed, and snowshoe rentals are available. For more information about programs at The Ridges, visit RidgesSanctuary.org or call 920.839.2802.
