Habitat for Humanity Supports Holiday Lights Recycling

Habitat for Humanity will take part in a new initiative for the holiday season, holiday lights recycling. Habitat ReStores, including the ReStore at 410 North 14th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay, will accept non-working or no longer needed holiday lights throughout the holiday season.

Lights will be collected during regular store hours, Thursday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm; and Saturday 9 am – 2 pm.

The light collection program raises money to build homes in Door County; over 25 barrels of lights were collected in the first three days of the drive.
