Hardy Gallery Opens May 28

The Hardy Gallery – a part of the Door County art community since the mid-1900s – will open May 28 for its 60th season with the 60th annual Wall-to-Wall Juried Exhibit, running May 28 – July 10. This salon-style show at the gallery, 3083 Anderson Lane in Ephraim, is open to both emerging and established artists, and members of the public are encouraged to cast votes for their favorite piece.

The Hardy Gallery (thehardy.org) will feature its annual Collection Invitational July 16 – Aug. 28 to highlight two works each by 40-plus established local and regional artists. One work by each artist is donated to the Collector’s Choice Benefit, the gallery’s largest special-event fundraiser.

The popular Community Mosaic Project will return for its 15th year July 16 – Aug. 28. Members of the public may purchase the 300 individual art works submitted by community members that make up the mosaic.

A print show will run Sept. 3 – Oct. 9. Curated by Christine Style, it will feature a selection from Vox Populi’s Devil’s Dictionary exchange project. Exhibiting artists will include Barry Roal Carlsen, Mary Hood, Rachael Griffin, Andy Ruben and Jayne Reid Jackson.
