Hardy’s Community Mosaic Project and Collection Invitational Now on Display

The Hardy Gallery’s annual Collection Invitational and Collectors Choice Benefit is currently on display and open for bidding. The exhibit features two works from each invited artist, one of which has been generously donated for the gallery’s silent auction, with all proceeds going to benefit the Hardy Gallery. In return, a second piece is displayed in the gallery for sale by the artist, with all proceeds of that sale going directly to the artist. This exhibit is the Hardy’s largest annual fundraising event of the season, and features 43 Door County artists who work in a variety of mediums and styles.

Visitors and collectors alike will find this an excellent opportunity to see the vast selection of the area’s finest artists and a means to add a distinctive piece to a home or personal collection. The silent auction of donated artwork concludes Aug. 21 at 1 pm. Bids can be made directly in the gallery, by calling 920.854.5535 or by emailing [email protected].

The Hardy Gallery’s annual Community Mosaic Project is currently on display, consisting of more than 280 individual 6” x 6” canvases made by members of the community. Thanks to the Artists Guild’s sponsorship, The Hardy has been able to continue to provide free canvases to community members to decorate and return for the final installation. The canvases are available for public purchase from the gallery at $30 each, but a limited number remain. Purchases can be made by calling 920.854.5535, emailing [email protected], or stopping by the gallery located at 3083 Anderson Lane, Ephraim.
