Highway 42 Resurface Meeting April 4

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces a public involvement meeting to discuss proposed work on Highway 42 from the Door/Kewaunee county line to the south junction of Highway 57 in Door County. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 4, from 5 to 6:30 pm at the Forestville town hall, 7705 County H. A brief presentation will take place at 5:10 p.m. followed by an open-house format. Project improvements include milling and resurfacing of the roadway, various spot grading and drainage improvements, replacement of culvert pipes and storm sewer repairs, and installation of beam guard. Construction is tentatively scheduled for summer 2020. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting to hear about project details, review project displays, and provide comment on the proposed improvements. WisDOT staff will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
