Hilander Cup and Rink Fundraiser Planned for Feb. 17

Broomball games were canceled due to freezing temperatures Jan. 30. Games were made up after press time Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Teresa K. Hilander Ice Rink manager Cody Bolton announced plans for the Hilander Cup Tournament Feb. 17. The tournament and fundraiser will feature food and beverages provided by Husby’s, Boathouse on the Bay, Casey’s BBQ & Smokehouse, Alexander’s, Mink River Basin and the Door County Brewing Co.

The fire pit will be burning to keep people warm; the free-skate rink will be open; and there will be games for kids. All proceeds from the day will go to the Teresa K. Hilander Community Ice Rink Fund.

Hilander Cup Tournament Schedule

12 pm: Food, games and beverages

1 pm: Game 1, play-in game between bottom two seeds

2 pm: Game 2, 4 seed vs. 1 seed

3 pm: Game 3, 3 seed vs. 2 seed

4:30 pm: Championship game
