Holiday Events and New Classes at Dancin’ on the Door

Dancin’ on the Door is hosting a Holiday Hafla on Dec. 22. A hafla is a party or social gathering where belly dancers take turns performing as well as some open-floor dancing for everyone to get up and enjoy the Middle Eastern music. Join local belly dancers Gretchen Geurts-Kummer and Andria Nikoupolis Weliky for a $10 beginners belly dance lesson from 6 – 7 pm. Then stay for a potluck, drum circle and dance party from 7 – 9 pm. Bring a dish to pass and BYOB. Plan for no street shoes on the dance floor. A soft sole indoor shoe, slipper or moccasin is recommended. RSVP by calling 920.868.5089 or visit dancinonthedoor.com.
