Holiday Music Motel Announces Upcoming House Concerts

Holiday Music Motel has three exciting house concerts coming up in April.

World-renowned bayanist Stas Venglevski pairs up with violinist Samantha George for an exceptional night of classical and original music on April 5 at 7 pm.

Stas has performed twice before at The Holiday on bayan (a button accordion). This time, he pairs with George who served as Associate Concert Master of The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra from 1999 – 2008 and is currently Associate Professor of Violin at Lawrence University in Appleton.

The two will perform an evening of classical works such as “Summer” and “Winter” from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons as well as delightful tangos and polkas. They will also perform works from their newly released CD, Stas and Sam Two Step.

Whether solo or joined by others, Stas’ incredible virtuosic performances are consistently injected with playful joy and humor rarely seen by artists of this caliber; his concerts appeal to music enthusiasts of all kinds. Tickets are $10.

On April 19 at 7 pm, Victoria Vox returns to The Holiday to release her latest CD, Key. Always a crowd pleaser, Vox tickets will go fast.

On April 24 at 7 pm, progressive folk/rock trio Small Forest (Jeanne Kuhns, Marybeth Mattson and Patrick Palmer) makes their Holiday Music Motel debut with Seth Raddatz opening.
