Humane Society Hosts “Understanding K-9 Behavior” May 31

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive, Sturgeon Bay, will host a seminar titled “Understanding K-9 Behavior” presented by Ron Maloney of Peninsula Dog Training. This class will take place May 31 at 6:30 pm and June 3 at 10 am. This behavioral seminar will be of interest to pet owners who want to develop a better understanding of how to communicate with their dog. It will also benefit non-dog owners who want to understand how to interact with dogs they encounter on the street. It would be of particular interest to those who visit dog parks and those who handle other people’s dogs on a daily basis such as vet technicians, kennel workers, groomers and pet sitters.
