In-Construction Open House

The Climate Change Coalition of Door County is hosting the third in a series of four in-construction open houses on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10 am to 2 pm at 120 Alabama St., Sturgeon Bay.

Owned by Chris and Dave Kellems, this house is expected to become Door County’s second LEED Platinum home, and Wisconsin’s seventh. LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an international system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council to produce the worlds’ most environmentally sustainable buildings. Platinum is the highest level of achievement.

The public is invited to view the home and learn about energy-savings features and indoor air quality measures implemented in the home.
