Intense, Dramatic and Slightly Humorous Work at Base Camp

Baileys Harbor artist Kate Roth will be the featured artist at Base Camp Coffee Bar through late February.

Roth works in acrylic and oil creating intense, dramatic and slightly humorous portraits and paintings of people. Her showing at Base Camp will represent the range of her works, which seek to convey the depth of human emotions.

“My goal with my art is to be more conscious of my intentions and what the ideas behind them are,” Roth said. “That’s an ongoing challenge.”
