Invasive Species Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for Tuesday, May 14, to help scout for and hand-pull garlic mustard at The Nature Conservancy’s Mink River Preserve. Meet at the work site, slightly east of 1078 Crescent Lane, Ellison Bay, at 9 am for an approximately three-hour work session. There is a small area to park and we can also park along Crescent Lane (look for the white TNC truck). Dress appropriately for the weather (it may be cold since it’s right by Rowleys Bay) and wear sturdy shoes or boots. Necessary supplies as well as water and light snacks will be provided.
