Jackson Accepted To West Point

Thomas Jackson, son of Mary and Christopher Jackson, was nominated and has accepted an offer to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point beginning in the fall of 2024, Southern Door High School announced.

To achieve a lifelong goal to go to West Point, Jackson took a rigorous course load, including a number of Advanced Placement and accelerated courses, in addition to participating in school activities including wrestling, football, cross-country and track and field. He also participated in the local Youth in Government program, taught Sunday school, and recently attained Eagle Scout status in his Boy Scout troop.

U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) nominated Jackson and will recognize him at an upcoming school assembly.
