Jacksonport Celebrates Maifest

Members of the Jacksonport Women’s Club (JWC) are preparing for Maifest, which will be held May 24 – 25 at Lakeside Park in Jacksonport.

The ladies will be selling homemade chocolate chip cookies, freshly baked Door County cherry kolaches, cherry pie by the slice and their freshly made-while-you-wait funnel cakes. Come to the bakery booth in the upper shelter at Lakeside Park for these tasty treats both Saturday and Sunday beginning at approximately 8 am.

The JWC will also have a used book/video & DVD sale at their booth. Anyone from the community wishing to donate used books, videos and DVDs may drop them at the Craft Cottage prior to Maifest.

Funds raised by the JWC at Maifest go to fund scholarships for women and Jacksonport area community projects.
