Jacksonport Farmers Market Beings May 15

Jacksonport’s farmers market, sponsored by the Jacksonport Area Business Association, starts May 15 at Lakeside Park. The market will be held on Tuesdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

The market features more than 30 booths with many local produce growers with a wide variety of fresh garden fare each week. Fruits and vegetables vary with the season and there will be more variety available as the weather warms up. The market also features locally made breads, sweet rolls, pies, candy and sweet treats to please every shopper. Local honey is also available. Door County craftspeople also show a nice variety of handcrafted gifts, clothing and accessories.

Music will be offered most Tuesdays, featuring either Marybeth Mattson, the Birch Creek Jazz Band, Beth Chafey-Hon or Jerry Voelker.
