James May Seeks Artists for ‘Art of Water III’

James May Gallery is seeking works in all media to include in an exhibit focusing on water at James May Gallery and the newly renovated James May North. Work may be about serious topics such as water conservation and protection, but it may also be about water’s simple beauty.

Any medium is welcome, but all works must be original and created within the last three years. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Send three high-quality .jpg images of your work (if applicable), an artist statement and a resume to [email protected]. Entries are due by March 15. The gallery will notify all artists on March 25 about which pieces will be included. The submission fee of $25 can be paid at jamesmaygallery.com.

Art of Water III is meant to be inclusive, but because of its popularity and the number of entrants, the gallery cannot guarantee everyone’s participation.

Artwork must be shipped to the gallery between April 20 and April 27. Hand-delivered artwork should arrive April 25-27 during regular gallery hours. The exhibit will run May 3-31, with an opening reception on May 3, 5:30-8 pm. For more information, visit jamesmaygallery.com.
