Jim Rossol Featured at DCAL Gallery

The Door County Art League (DCAL) artist of the week, June 11-18, is award-winning fine art photographer Jim Rossol. He has exhibited at the Guenzel Gallery at the Peninsula School of Art, The Hardy Gallery and Miller Art Museum and other fine art galleries throughout Door County. At a young age, “the lights, shadows, colors, shapes and lines” of New York and experiences in the high school dark room hooked Rossol on his fine art photography hobby, which he pursued as a full-time resident of Door County following a successful career in sales and marketing.

Mentored and inspired by Suzanne Rose and Daniel Anderson, Rossol seeks to learn more through classes at the Peninsula School of Art, The Clearing and Björklunden. For more information visit jimrossol.artistwebsites.com.

Bridget Austin is the DCAL Gallery guest artist for June. Master Artist of The Door County Art League in 2015, Austin’s watercolors have earned her entrance into the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society as well as Signature Membership into Wisconsin Watercolor Society and Master Status in the Transparent Watercolor Society of America. Austin is famous for her creative use of color and design in negative spaces. She has exhibited in Door County since the mid-1970s and her work can be seen at Cottage Row Gallery, Fish Creek.
