Judge Candidate Forum Thursday

Door County residents will vote for a new Door County Branch 1 Circuit Court Judge this April. Two people are running for the seat (incumbent D. Todd Ehlers is retiring): Jennifer Moeller and Brett Reetz.

The League of Women Voters of Door County (LWVDC) will host a Door County Circuit Court Judge Candidate Forum with Moeller and Reetz on Feb. 15, 6-7:30 p.m., at the Door County ADRC, 916 N. 14th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. 

The Peninsula Pulse will publish questionnaires for all the contested races in upcoming issues to help readers learn about the candidates.

LWVDC forums give candidates equal opportunity to speak. Candidates will present their credentials and reasons for running and answer questions. Door County residents can email potential forum questions for the judicial candidates to [email protected]. Please put “Forum Question” in the subject line.

The forum is free and open to the public. A recording will be available for viewing on the LWVDC website following the event. A snow date has been scheduled for Feb.  23 in the event of inclement weather.
