“Unity” Plays July 4 Festival 6pm At Sturgeon Bay’s Sunset Park

Gather your crew, dust off your patriotic clothes, and come to Sturgeon Bay to celebrate and make memories on the Fourth of July. Join your friends and neighbors in Sunset Park beginning at 5 pm for an old-fashioned ice cream social, food, drinks, music and fabulous fireworks. Sunset Park is open all day.

Unity the Band will play at the park at 6 pm for original and cover music on the SBVC Music Stage by the Pavilion in Sunset Park. Unity’s full horn section will lead the crowds in a soulful rendition of the National Anthem at the start of the firework show.

Enjoy brats, hot dogs and burgers without firing up a grill. Expert grillers have you covered, and sales support the fireworks celebration, organized and hosted by Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center. Gyros, quesadillas, and Philly cheesesteak will help feed the crowd too. Watch the sky explode with color over the Sturgeon Bay Channel and treat yourself to a sweet treat with an old-fashioned ice cream sundae with Door County cherries and chocolate.

Adult refreshments include wine, traditional and craft beers from the Door County Brewing Company will be available to purchase from the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center tent by the Pavilion.

Three cheers go out to Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding for being the Title Sponsor of Sturgeon Bay Celebrates 2017.

“From all of the working men and women of Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding, we wish our neighbors and community a safe and peaceful 4th of July,” said Todd Thayse, vice president and general manager of Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding.
