Door County kids can hone their culinary skills at the Top Chef Tech Camp June 23-24 at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Sturgeon Bay. The hands-on summer camp runs daily from 9 am – 3 pm and is open to students entering grades 5-8.
During the Top Chef Tech camp, students will participate in real-life hospitality training that includes food preparation, sanitation and menu planning. Each day, a unique menu will be prepared by campers in NWTC- Sturgeon Bay’s industrial kitchen, and served to their fellow camp participants.
The cost of the camp is $40 and includes activities under the guidance of NWTC faculty and staff, all food and materials, a t-shirt, snacks and a lunch. For registration information, visit nwtc.edu/techcamp or contact Samantha Allen at 920.498.6817 or [email protected].
