Kress Pavilion Celebrates Earth Day April 26-28

Celebrate Earth Day at the 2019 Every Day Is Earth Day Festival, April 26-28 at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. This three-day celebration brings together people, organizations and businesses that respect, preserve and protect our Green Earth-Care culture in Door County. The weekend will feature resource exchanges, open houses, speakers, demonstrations, films, activities for children and adults and much more.

Friday night’s focus will be a roundtable event at 6 pm: The Green Door Legacy. Moderated by Myles Dannhausen Jr. of the Peninsula Pulse, the expert panel – Virge Temme, Amber Beard and Mariah Goode – will discuss green building and implementing green practices in your home. A reception will follow.

The second day, 10 am – 4 pm, will focus on films, presentations, workshops and exhibitors. Food and refreshments from Waseda Farms and Greens ‘N’ Grains will be available for purchase. Small Forest will perform at 7 pm.

Sunday will be a day of artistic reflection on the planet through movies, prose and poetry, performance arts, music and photography, ending with  refreshments.

All of the events are free. For a more detailed schedule, visit kresspavilion.org/ededfest.
