Kyle White Publishes New Regional Book

Kyle White’s latest book, ‘Neighbor As Yourself.’

Author and illustrator Kyle White has published a new book titled Neighbor As Yourself. White is a Stevens Point native, and the nonfiction book concentrates on the Midwest. He has been featured in the Peninsula Pulse and The Door Voice, and is a frequent visitor to Door County.

“Neighbor As Yourself is a humorous and reflective collection of Midwest essays and poetry on love, death and God,” White says. The book focuses on Wisconsin and Illinois, and a number of the pieces take place in Door County.

His first book, Wisconsin River of Grace, was published by Cornerstone Press (UW-Stevens Point) in 2009. White has been a featured author and speaker at the Sterling North Book & Film Festival in Wisconsin, and the Northern Illinois Big 12 Literary Festival. Wisconsin River of Grace was chosen for Northern Illinois Public Radio’s 2012 Winter Book Series.
