League of Women Voters Annual Meeting at the Landmark

The League of Women Voters Door County will host the LWV Wisconsin Annual Meeting on June 3-4 at the Landmark Resort near Egg Harbor. Key speakers include: Friday evening after dinner Robert Atwell will address “The Economic Case for Improving Water Quality.” He is CEO and chairman of Nicolet National Bank. District 1 Representative Joel Kitchens will be present that evening to welcome state league members to Door County. Saturday morning after a continental breakfast, Colleen Gruszynski, a member of LWV-Greater Green Bay, is an expert on voter registration data and how to use this information to improve voter outreach. She will speak to “Engaging the Emerging Electorate.” Her experience includes working for the Government Accountability Board, Wisconsin Voices, and other civic engagement organizations. The public is invited to join League members and friends of the League for these presentations, but registration is required.
