Learn the Rules of the Road at Bike Rodeo

Join the Door County Silent Sports Alliance and the City of Sturgeon Bay Police Department for a free Bike Rodeo on May 11. This bike rodeo is geared for children in 3rd through 7th grades, but all ages are welcome. Children will watch a video on bike safety, and learn through hands-on experience about the rules of the road, hand signals and safety. Kids should bring their own bikes in good operating condition, and upon completion of the rodeo, they’ll receive a Bell bike helmet.

Rodeos take place at 9 am, 10:15 am, 11:30 am and 12:45 pm (participants should arrive 15 minutes before the session begins).

Space is limited to 40 participants in each session. If interested, call or stop by the Sturgeon Bay Police Dept. at 746.2450 from 8 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, or call TJ Walker Middle School at 746.2806. Walk-ins are welcome.
