Leos Club Announces an Upcoming Concert with Ruth Moody Band

Luxemburg-Casco High School’s Leos Club and Performing Arts Community are proud to bring the Ruth Moody Band in concert to the Luxemburg-Casco Performing Arts Center on April 20.

Moody is an artist of exceptional depth and grace, lauded by critics for her ethereal vocals, impressive multi-instrumentalism, and her masterful songwriting in the folk, bluegrass, and roots music traditions. She is a Juno Award-winning songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba and a founding member of the internationally renowned, Billboard-charting trio The Wailin’ Jennys.

Moody has performed in sold-out venues around the world, has made numerous critically-acclaimed albums, and has appeared more than a dozen times on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion.

Leos Club and the L-C Performing Arts Community will use proceeds from this concert to benefit students involved in both organizations. Leos Club is a youth community service group that provides leadership, experience, and opportunity for its members.
