Letter to the Editor: Perpetual Politician

It has to be gross arrogance to run for political office with yard signs that say RUSS in big letters and a much smaller picture of Wisconsin as the entire content. Yes, everybody knows that it’s Russell Feingold running again. This man has never had a real job, he’s been in office or running for office for almost 35 years and, if he could control it, Mr. Feingold would be at the public office spigot like the forever postage stamp, with himself coming in first, on top with our state a distant second!

Mr. Feingold’s campaign signs are never discarded because he continuously runs for office even while he’s in office. He’s not just a perennial politician, he’s a perpetual politician; the Washington insider who never goes away, who gets more than 70 percent of his campaign money from donors who live outside Wisconsin and donors who like his yes votes on Obamacare and partial birth abortion while overlooking his solitary vote against the Patriot Act. Like his donors, he’s outside of Wisconsin almost all the time, in beltway Washington and in la-la land California teaching mush to the college boys.

His yard signs don’t say much, reflecting his contributions to our state! Can anyone, anywhere think of anything that this man has ever done for the people of Wisconsin?
