Letter to the Editor: Do Your Job

True to form, Congress again refuses to do their job. They say “no” again for the umpteenth time. From the very beginning when Mitch McConnell said we are going to make Obama a one-term president and we are not going to cooperate, they have been true to their word. Their political strategy of never-ending obstructionism continues. Not many people could hold onto their job like Congress, slowing down progress, stopping things altogether and completely forgetting about the American people. So look where we are today. The dog-and-pony show playing out in the media for the Republican Party nomination; not to mention the candidates they have put forward. What a sad state of affairs. They are now wondering how all of this could have happened, not a soul the establishment can control. Might it be the American people are fed up with the last eight years of doing nothing? It appears that some would vote for a buffoon rather than a politician.
