Lighthouse Ornament Launch

Baileys Harbor author Sue Jarosh is launching three Christmas ornaments inspired by her series of children’s books about local lighthouses. The designs will include the Cana Island Lighthouse (inspired by “Camden and the Cana Island Cat,”) the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse (inspired by “Eagle Bluff Lighthouse Mouse”) and Baileys Harbor Range Lights (inspired by “Baileys Harbor Range Lights Rascal.”)

The brass ornaments are enlarged versions of 10 Door County lighthouse pins that Jarosh created when she and her husband owned Jacksonport Cottage Gifts and Gallery from 1984 to 2015. The pins became a popular collector’s item, and many of Jarosh’s past customers asked the artist to bring back the designs featured on them as ornaments.
