Little Sweden Recognized for Customer Service Efforts

Little Sweden Resort in Fish Creek was chosen as a national example for customer service from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), a nationally recognized organization in the hospitality industry. ARDA looked at thousands of resorts across the country and they chose to highlight three resorts with this designation; Little Sweden was one of them.

Lara Bush-Pensy, general manager, was interviewed for ARDA’s national publication, Developments Magazine March 2018 issue. Bush-Pensy said, “It is a team effort all the way at Little Sweden. We are so excited to be chosen for this national designation! It is a reflection of what each member of our staff does every single day to make Little Sweden the beautiful place that it is and we are blessed to work with one of the best crews around.”

The article goes on to highlight some of the things that are a regular part of the customer service efforts at Little Sweden. It particularly spotlights a letter given to Bush-Pensy from a little girl who stayed at Little Sweden. Written in crayon, the little girl talks about her recovery from cancer and how everyone at Little Sweden made her feel so “speshel.”

Bush-Pensy said, “I remember the day I received it; it stopped me in my tracks.  It is really this little girl who made us all feel so special and reminded us, in a most heartfelt way, how every person’s words and efforts can impress upon each person they come in contact with and make such a difference in how they feel even when we might not realize it.”
