Lost Moth Celebrates Earth Day with a Concert

On April 21 at 7 pm, Lost Moth Gallery is pleased to celebrate Earth Day by presenting a “Love the Earth” Concert. Three musical acts will perform that have a heart for environmental issues and love to sing about their love of the ecology of Door County and our planet.

Tarl Knight

Tarl Knight

Tarl Knight describes himself as a British-American person and singer-songwriter. Knight’s excellent guitar and keyboard playing and edgy but luminous lyrical creations are supported by an exquisite musicality. For a fairly quiet-spoken young person he has a powerful voice and a lot to say with a deep concern and love of community and all things of the Earth.

Terry Murphy

Terry Murphy

Small Forest is Jeanne Kuhns, Patrick Palmer and Marybeth Mattson weaving their intricate harmonies with poetic yet edgy lyrics carried on melodies that bring their earth songs to your heart. This Door County trio combines guitar, Djembe and bass to create an upbeat progressive folk sound to convey their love of our biosphere and all kinds of trees in the Door County community.

Terry Murphy is a talented singer-songwriter adept at contemporary musical storytelling, and creative versions of nostalgic tunes of past generations. His musical style is best described as a blend of Americana, roots, swing, blues, folk and old-fashioned boogie-woogie. He will share his songs with a green emphasis.

Doors open at 6 pm for coffee, tea and cookies. Tickets are $20 cash. Reservations are encouraged; call 920.495.2928. Lost Moth Gallery is located at 7975 Hwy 42 at the north end of Egg Harbor.
