Mallien Named Eagles’ Head Football Coach

An assistant football coach at Southern Door is taking over as the Eagles’ head coach next season.

The Southern Door Board of Education on Monday approved the hiring of Scott Mallien, who has been the team’s defensive coordinator and has also coached track and field at the school.

Mallien is replacing Mark Jonas, who is leaving after two seasons to become the head football coach next fall at Green Bay Preble.
