• Gibraltar’s Entrepreneurship Class, under the direction of Mary Witteborg, launched GT, Inc. a customized t-shirt business managed by a student board of directors. President of the board is Isaac Lent, Vice President of Marketing is Tyler Hanusa. The VP of Finance is Dana Goelz, VP of Production is Cody Becker, VP of Human Resources is Jordan Alberts, and VP of Public Relations is Chris Janisse.

Students will issue stock to finance the company and market their products to students and community organizations. Gibraltar uses a model similar to Junior Achievement in which they start, operate and liquidate a company in a 12-week time period. Each of the four previous businesses the program has launched has earned a profit after paying wages, salaries, commissions and donating to an area non-profit organization. • If a familiar voice came over the television set during the Super Bowl and the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, it’s because it came from Sturgeon Bay.

The voiceover portion of the ad was recorded and produced at Shady Nook, with Jordyce Bryntesen providing voiceover talent services and Ralph Valatka recording and producing the voiceover track.

The ad was produced by creative director Shelly Young of Arketype, Inc. in Green Bay, with Shady Nook providing services over the Internet. Musical underscoring is Victoria Vox’s Summertime.
