March 8 Master Gardener Lecture Highlights Orchids

The Master Gardener Lecture at 7 pm on Tuesday, March 8 will be “Orchids.” The Door County Master Gardeners are pleased to welcome Richard Baehnman of the Northeastern Wisconsin Orchid Society. Richard is a longtime grower and collector of orchids. He will offer information on how to successfully grow beautiful orchids in our northern climate. He will also share his experiences traveling the world in search of orchids growing in the wild. You will leave this program with the knowledge and confidence needed to successfully grow orchids in your home.

The program is free and open to the public. The Collins Learning Center, located at 2041 Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2-4:30 pm daily and during scheduled activities.
