Mascot Books Publishes ‘Breeze’

Mascot Books announces the release of her children’s book Breeze by Kimber Leewood, a Sturgeon Bay author and illustrator.

Breeze is an energetic Arabian horse who loves to play. One day, when his friends are resting, Breeze decides to explore beyond his home at Applewood Stables. As exciting as his adventure is, Breeze learns there is no place quite like home.

Leewood grew up in the Fox Cities and has always loved horses. When she was younger, she could be found playing with Breyer Horses and reading many different horse books. Her favorite was Black Beauty. Leewood now resides in Door County with her husband, a German shepherd, three cats and a herd of five horses.

A book launch party is scheduled for Sept. 15 at Wood Orchard Market, 10 am – 2 pm. The afternoon features door prizes, children’s activities and more.
