MDCMC Auxiliary Award Scholarships to Students and Employees

Ministry Door County Medical Center Auxiliary recently awarded $18,000 in scholarships to Door County students pursuing a medical career in three categories: outstanding high school seniors, ongoing students in Associate and Bachelor degree programs, and medical center employees continuing their education in the medical field.

High school senior recipients were Heather Hansen, Sevastopol High School; Clarissa Jauregui and Megan Swain, Gibraltar High School; Casey Rosenthal, Sturgeon Bay High School; LaRae Bagnall, Jessica DeJardin, Rima Patel and Luke Spude, Southern Door High School.

Ongoing scholarships were given to Mariah Giesseman, Lori Leist, Marli Leist, Alexis Mraz, Sarah Quakkelaar, Elizabeth Stubenvoll and Alyssa Sekadlo.

Medical center employee scholarships were awarded to Ashley Beck, Wendy Olson, Callie Stenzel and Caroline Urban.

The proceeds of $18,000 were raised from the December 2012 Angel Ball.
