Meditation Events at Junction Center

Junction Center will hold two meditation events. Kathy Navis, long time Zen meditation practitioner, will present an introduction to the ancient practice of meditation on Feb. 25 from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. The program costs $10. Roshi Vimala Muni, John Nemick of the Green Tara Sangha will also host a one-day silent meditation retreat on March 1. The day will be a silent practice including periods of sitting and walking meditation, light yoga and a delicious organic lunch, a dharma talk and a presentation of the Mondo Zen Process.

The program will begin promptly at 9 am and finish at 4 pm. The cost of the retreat is $90 and limited options are available to offset cost with work practice.
