Michael Ball Jr. Wins Bronze for “Watch Me Grow”

Sister Bay author Michael Ball Jr. was awarded a Bronze Medal in the national Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards. His book, Watch Me Grow – Memories and Milestones Keepsake, was published earlier this year by the Footer Family of products, Sister Bay.

Presented by the Jenkins Group book publishers, the Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards “are intended to bring increased recognition to exemplary children’s books and their creators, and to celebrate children’s books, childhood literacy and life-long reading.”

The award comes just one week before Ball will showcase the book at the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas. The ABC Expo is the largest children’s product expo in North America, and is attended by buyers from the world’s top retailers.

“I am humbled and flattered to have won this award,” said Michael Ball Jr. “I am thrilled to be able to add news of the award to my booth in Las Vegas, and then attend the awards ceremony next month.”

Watch Me Grow is a keepsake book, complete with all the measuring devices needed to document a young child’s growth and development.
