Midsummer’s Music Fest at Ellison Bay Estate

On Sept. 2, 150 guests will have the opportunity to hear breathtaking music in the mansion overlooking Lake Michigan, known as the Ellison Bay Estate. The classical chamber concert titled “Grand Eloquence” will take place on Sept. 2 at 3 pm in the Grand Parlor of the luxurious home. Guests will hear some of the finest chamber music in the Midwest, while surrounded by the splendor of this magnificent space.

“Midsummer’s Music Festival held a sold out concert at the estate in July. Because of the popularity of the event they approached us to see if we would want to partner on a similar concert,” said Amy Kohnle, United Way director.

The concert will feature David Perry, violin; Stephanie Preucil, violin; Sally Chisholm, viola; Walter Preucil, cello; and Jeannie Yu, piano. The group will perform Gustav Mahler’s Quartet Movement in A Minor, Paul Schoenfield’s Café Music, and César Franck’s Quintet in F.

This evening will include delicious delights catered by Top Shelf Café and Gourmet. Tickets are $150 per person. Location details will be provided upon event registration.

United Way of Door County will continue their relationship with Ministry Door County Medical Center (MDCMC) as they partner for this concert. All proceeds will be divided between the two organizations.

Tickets are available through Midsummer’s Music Festival, 10568 Country Walk Lane, Suite 109, in Sister Bay or by calling 920.854.7088.
