Ministry Door County Medical Center Announces its Concert Series Line-Up

Ministry Door County Medical Center announces its free concert series Music in the Gardens, beginning July 8. Featured national touring acts for July include:

• July 8 – Baskery. A Swedish alternative Americana folk rock band, comprising of three sisters Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson.

• July 15 – Willy Porter and Dorothy Scott. Together Porter and Scott will be offering some outstanding musical surprises.

• July 22 – Paul Cebar. Milwaukee-based Cebar has been slinging out his unique blend of rock, funk, world music and joyous pop in various bands since the early 90s.

• July 29 – WIFEE & the HUZzBAND. A ten-piece, original music heavy band with full horn section and a DJ that pulls from influences of old Soul, Motown, 50s-60s Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues and some Funk.

• Aug. 5 – Hans Christian. Christian’s unmistakable cello playing moves the listener with a haunting beauty, and his use of live looping and various ethnic string instruments expresses a universal musical language that transcends boundaries, cultures, and generations.

Tuesday concerts take place at 7 pm in a relaxed atmosphere in the hospital’s Green Space on 16th Place, right next to The Community’s Garden. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner, and chairs or blankets. For more information call 920.493.5979.
