NDCC Announces Fundraising Events

In an ongoing effort to keep early care and education affordable for Door County families, Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC) announces upcoming fundraising events.

Feb. 18 brings a new fundraising event in celebration of Northern Door Children’s Center’s 30 years of service to the community. Radio station WSBW, part of the DoorCountyDailyNews.Com family, will broadcast from the Children’s Center from 6 am to 6 pm and the Center will be open to the public for tours from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Visitors will be able to see the classrooms and meet NDCC teachers and administrators as well as enjoy free refreshments.

NDCC is asking local business and individuals to sponsor half-hour radio segments. This sponsorship results in eight 30-second ads throughout the broadcast and multiple mentions during the designated half-hour. All proceeds of advertising sales will donated to NDCC.

On April 8, 10 am – 7:30 pm, NDCC will host the “Fourth Annual Super Bowl-A-Thon: A Rollin’, Bowlin’ Good Time” at the Sister Bay Bowl on Highway 42. Teams of four, with one person serving as team captain, get sponsors to donate a minimum of $50 per bowler to bowl two games in a 1½-hour time slot.

Individuals and businesses can be sponsors with a minimum of a $50 donation to be included on the Super Bowl-A-Thon 2017 T-shirts or sponsor a bowler for $25.

All proceeds from all fundraisers benefit the children and families of Northern Door Children’s Center. If interested in either of these fundraising events, call 920.854.4244 or email [email protected].
