Nelson Takes Door County Idol Crown

Gibraltar’s Lilli Nelson took home the 2010 Door County Idol crown at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek.

The competition featured eight of the county’s best young performers, including runner-up Monica Lenius of Southern Door. The show is based on the popular American Idol, but rather than an elimination series, it crowns its winner in just one night.

The event is supported by Cynthia Stiehl, The Fish Creek Civic Association, On Deck Clothing Company, Novel Ideas Book Store and The Bistro at Liberty Square.
