No Eagle’s Nest in Bayview Bridge

A rumor has been circulating around the peninsula that work on the Bayview Bridge has been delayed due to an eagle’s nest on the bridge. We contacted Mark Kantola, Northeast Region Communications Director for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, and asked him if it was true. “Popular question,” he said. “Been getting it for a month now from various people. False. No truth whatsoever. No eagle, no nest, no eggs, no stalled construction.” So, please pass it on.
